- All letters are illustrated in Pudjiastuti’s book.
- Only letters in Malay have been included. The other letters, apart from 41, are in Arabic, or in a few cases in Javanese.
- The scripts are as described by Pudjiastuti. Those labelled jawi often include dotted dal for the Javanese retroflex d, indicated in this collection by Ð, ð. Occasionally there is a vowel sign ~ for pepet. This is not indicated in this collection.
