Editorial notes
The Hooker text synthesises Maxwell 2 with four other manuscript texts; most significantly with:  KITLV Or. 69 (formerly HS 630):  copy dated 1896, text dated 1866, from Penyengat, Riau.  The critical approach is clearly set out in the introduction to the printed edition, which also meticulously indicates the contributions made by each source.  The overwhelming bulk of the text closely follows Maxwell 2.

An early version of the text in digital form was very kindly provided by Dr Hooker.  It has been edited slightly.  There may be divergences in spelling between the MCP text and the version ultimately published by Dewan Bahasa.  Very minor discrepancies in folio and line numbers reflect slippage in the Dewan Bahasa format.
