- Warta Malaya was a daily newspaper published in Singapore. Its editors were Onn bin Jaafar (1930-33), Sayyid Alwi bin Sayyid Shaykh al-Hadi (1933-34), Sayyid Hussein bin Ali Alsagoff (1934-1941), and Ibrahim bin Haji Yaakub (1941).

- The transcription was prepared under less than ideal conditions, and under severe pressure of time. It cannot therefore be guaranteed to be wholly accurate. It has been substantially edited in preparation for inclusion in the MCP.
