- Sweeney's text is an exceptionally careful and accurate edition.
- In his notes, Sweeney gives meticulous comparisons of textual variation between
- (a) the jawi and rumi versions of the 1838 text, and
- (b) the 1838 edition, the 1852 lithographed edition, and Kassim Ahmad's modern version.
