- Skinner's transcription preserves the manuscript use of angka dua {2} to indicate reduplication. Thus the form laki2 is found along with laki-laki.
- Skinner discriminates between the graphemes {é} as in ékor and {e} as in enam. The text presented here tries to preserve these differences, but it may not always be successful.
