- The text comprises 4 pages of prose introduction (folios 4-7) followed by the syair of 83 stanzas (folios 5-35), followed by a prose conclusion (folios 36-45).
- Each opening of the manuscript has the jawi text on one side, and a roman-script transcription prepared by R. Poerawidjaja, a first-level trainee teacher (kweekling). Suryadi presents his own transliteration of the jawi text, rather than relying on Poerawidjaja’s, which diverges at some points from the jawi original.
